The Government has approved and ordered the appointment of a total of 45,000 (forty-five thousand) guest teachers, including 35,000 guest teachers for government primary schools and 10,000 guest teachers for government high schools, to fill the vacant posts of teachers in government primary and high schools for the academic year 2024-25, on a temporary basis until the teachers are filled through direct recruitment or until the end of the academic year.
