Appointment of 27 different posts of Vidhan Parishad Ministry: Exam admit card published

The Karnataka Examinations Authority has conducted competitive examinations for the recruitment of 27 different posts in the Legislative Council Ministry from March 22 to 27. Those who have applied for the said posts have now released the link to appear for the exam and download the required admit card. The download method and link are given below.

Exam schedule for these various posts of Karnataka Legislative Council Ministry including Junior Consultant Operator, Computer Operator, Assistant, Junior Assistant, Senior Programmer, Junior Programmer, Data Entry Assistant was released recently. According to that, the test is being conducted now.

How to Download Admit Card?

  • Visit the web address https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/indexnew.
  • Note that on the webpage that opens, it says ‘Recent Publications’.
  • Click on the link titled ‘Hall Ticket Download Link’ published on 17th March.
  • Another webpage will open.
  • Select Exam >> Karnataka Legislative Council Secretariat’ on this webpage.
  • Type application number, first 4 letters of candidate name.
  • Click on ‘Submit’.
  • Then the admit card will be displayed on the webpage that opens.
  • Download and take print.

Read your name and other details in the admit card. Read the guidelines prescribed for the exam and follow them accordingly. Along with the admit card, the official government identity card should also be carried while appearing for the examination.

Dress Code Guidelines for Exam Attendants
Dress code for male candidates

  • Male candidates should ensure to wear half-sleeve shirts as full-sleeve shirts are not permitted on the day of the exam.
  • Preferring to wear collarless shirts as much as possible.
  • Trousers and plain trousers (without pockets | with pockets) is the preferred dress code for male candidates.
  • Kurta Pajama, jeans pants are not allowed.
  • The clothes worn by the male candidates should be light i.e. no zip pockets, pockets, large buttons and elaborate embroidery.
  • Shoes are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
  • Candidates should wear sandals or thin-soled sandals.
  • Candidates are prohibited from wearing any metal ornaments around the neck or wearing earrings, rings and bracelets.

Dress code for women candidates

  • Women candidates are prohibited from wearing clothes with elaborate embroidery, flowers, bouches or buttons.
  • Full sleeved clothes / jeans should not be worn on the day of examination.
  • Instead they are directed to wear half-sleeved clothes so as not to embarrass them and as per the rule we have mentioned.
  • High heeled shoes should not be worn with sandals and shoes/slippers with thick soles, thin soles should be worn.
  • Women candidates are prohibited from wearing any kind of metal jewellery. (Put on Mangalsutra and Kalungura).

LIST OF PROHIBITED ITEMS Electronic items, mobile phones, pen drives, ear phones, microphones, blue tooth devices and wrist watch, edible items, drinking water bottle, pencil, paper, eraser, geometry boxes and log table, head cap/hat, any kind of mask, any of these cannot be brought into the examination centre. These are prohibited.
