Apply for 56 Stenographer, Tax Assistant Posts. Income Tax Department through official notification dated March 2025 has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling up the posts of Stenographer, Tax Assistant.

Income Tax Department under Central Board of Direct Taxes has invited applications for new jobs. Data Processing Assistant vacancies in the department are being filled on contract basis.

Income Tax Department has 8 vacant posts in various offices of Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax in New Delhi, Lucknow, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai and the department is ready to fill them. The selected will be part of General Central Services Group-B Gazetted, Non-Ministerial Cadre.

Those who are serving in Central Government, State Government and Union Territory are eligible for this post. These are not applicable to anyone else. Selected candidates will be paid Rs 44,900-1,42,400 per month. This job notification has been published on 6th January and last date for submission of application is 5th February. Qualification Details: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications/Computer Science, MTech BE/BTech Computer Engineer in Computer Applications/Computer Science, Computer Technology, 2 years work experience.
