Tumkur Zilla Panchayat has now released the recruitment notification for filling up the posts of Specialist, Ksharasutra Attendant, Pharmacist, Masseur in new hospitals under Tumkur District AYUSH Office. Those who are interested in these posts can apply in person and by mail after knowing the below details.
Applications are invited for filling up the following various vacancies in various hospitals of the district which have been upgraded under National AYUSH Abhiyan of Centrally Awarded Scheme under Tumkur District AYUSH Office. Tumkur Zilla Panchayat has decided to temporarily select contract based specialist and other posts through merit and reservation based interview. The complete details of the posts are as follows.

Post wise pay scale details
- Specialist (Ayurveda) : Rs.65,000.
- Specialist (Homeopathy) : Rs.65,000.
- Ksharasutra Attendant : Rs.19,425.
- Pharmacist : Rs.28,928.
- Masseur: Rs.19,425.
Post wise qualification details
- Specialist (Ayurveda) : BAMS, MS Shalyatantra or Post Graduation in MD Panchakarma / Kayachikitsa with minimum 3 years experience.
- Specialist (Homeopathy) : BHMS, MS / MD with minimum 3 years of experience, in case Post Graduate is not available BHMS, Bachelor’s degree without PG allowance will be considered.
- Ksharasutra Attendant : Must have at least 10th standard qualification and must have at least 2 years working experience in Ayush Hospital / Clinics.
- Pharmacist: With B.Pharma degree, 2 years experience. Diploma in Pharmacy candidates will be considered if these qualifications are not available. Must have computer knowledge.
- Masseur: Must have at least 10th standard qualification and must have at least 02 years working experience in AYUSH Hospitals / Clinics.
Age Qualifications
As on date 01-01-2025, minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 35 years for general candidates, minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 40 years for SC and ST caste candidates, minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 38 years for Q-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B candidates has been fixed.
Last date for submission of applications: 17-03-2025 by 05-00 PM.

- Caste certificates should be obtained from the concerned Tahsildar as current as on the last date fixed for application.
- Only the reservation filled in the application will be considered, no higher qualification or subsequent reservation will be considered. No change is allowed in the application once submitted.
- If the candidates want to apply for more than one post, they should submit separate applications for each post, the applications will be automatically rejected if they apply for more than one post in a single application.
- Date of Birth Confirmation – SSLC/Birth Certificate/Equivalent Qualification Mark Sheet or School Transfer Certificate.
- Rural candidate reservation- Certificate of having studied in rural areas from class 01 to 10 must be obtained from the headmaster and attested by the concerned field education officer.
- Reservation for Handicapped Candidates – Handicapped Certificate in the form prescribed vide Government Notification No:CSUE/ 115/ Senani/ 2005, Dated: 19-11-2005 should be obtained from Medical Board in Government Hospitals.
- Candidates applying for the post of Specialist must be registered by the concerned registration authorities. If they have experience of service in the field of their qualification, they should attach the certificates.
- Candidates applying for the post of Drug Distributor must be registered by the concerned authority. Registered copy to be attached
