5,267 primary and high school teacher posts have been approved by the state government Teacher Recruitment

The state government has given a great news to the teacher post aspirants. 5,267 vacant posts in government primary and secondary schools of the same state have been allowed to be filled up through direct recruitment.

In this regard, the Under Secretary of the School Education and Literacy Department has issued an order. In the budget speech for the year 2024-25, Kandika 103 has announced that “the process of appointing teachers/lecturers of various subjects of government primary and high schools and post-graduate colleges vacant in the state will be started”.

Accordingly, the total number of 6584 teacher posts sanctioned in government primary and high schools in the Kalyan Karnataka region is per cent. The Commissioner, Department of School Education, Bangalore has submitted a proposal to the Government in order (2) read above, seeking permission to fill up 80 percent i.e. 5267 posts of teachers through direct recruitment. The Government having scrutinized the said proposal, has ordered as follows.

In the background of the factors described in the proposal, as announced in the statement 103 of the budget speech for the year 2024-25, the currently vacant posts sanctioned in government primary and high schools in the Karnataka region of Kalyan

The filling details of primary and high school teacher posts are as follows..

  • PGT Class 1 to 5 Teachers – 4,424 Posts
  • GPT 6th to 8th Class Teachers – 78 Posts
  • PET (Grade-II) Teachers – 380 Posts
  • SECAM Teachers – 121 Posts
  • SEC PET Teacher – 216 Posts
  • SEC SPL Teachers – 48

Total number of posts is 5,267

Further, after the completion of the preliminary work for the appointment of the above posts and before issuing the appointment order, it has been suggested to estimate the financial budget for the said posts and submit a proposal to the government. The said order has been issued by the Finance Department vide Note No: AE 389 Expenditure-8/2024, dated: 03.10.2024.
