The Department of Religious Endowment has made 3 tourist packages for the devotees going on pilgrimage to Dwaraka, Puri, Jagannath, South India Kshetras for the New Year and the Karnataka Bharat Gaurav Yatra subsidy has been announced.
The Dakshina Yatra will be from January 25 to January 30 and will cover Rameshwar, Kanyakumari, Madurai, Thiruvananthapuram for six days.
25,000 for this. 15000 will be borne by the government. Pilgrims have to pay Rs. 10,000. Bangalore Sir.M.V. Boarding and alighting is allowed at railway station, Belgaum, Hubli, Haveri, Davangere, Birur, Tumkur.
There is an 8 day Yatra package including Dwaraka, Nageshwar, Somnath, Trimbakeshwar. There is an 8-day Yatra package that includes Puri, Konark, Gangasagar, Kolkata and costs Rs 32,500. will cost 17500 Rs from Govt. The pilgrims have to pay the remaining Rs. 15,000. The Dwarka Yatra will start on January 6 and end on January 13. The train will depart for Puri Jagannath Darshan on 3rd January and will end on 10th February. Pilgrims can board and alight at Bangalore SMVT, Tumkur, Arasikere, Birur, Davangere, Haveri, Belgaum.
