In relation to the recruitment of 1000 village administrative officer posts notified by the Karnataka Examinations Authority, the schedule has been released, when will the provisional selection list be released, when will the documents be verified, and when will the final selection list be released. Candidates who have applied and written the exam should know this information.
In connection with the recruitment of 1000 village administrative officer posts of the revenue department, the office of the principal secretary to the government has announced the schedule for publishing the provisional selection list, document verification and the final selection list for all the district collectors. And accordingly all the District Collectors have been informed to take necessary action.
A total of more than 6 lakh candidates have applied and appeared for the 1000 village administration officer posts, including two Bhari posts. A total of 45,933 candidates have qualified for 1000 village administrative officer posts in 30 districts after qualifying all the papers.
Out of a total of 45,933 candidates who have qualified, the District Collectors concerned invite for enrollment verification in the ratio of 1:3 in the merit list already authorized for the approved posts, verify the enrollment and publish the provisional list in the ratio of 1:1, allow objections, then publish the final shortlist, validity certificate and police report, PUC / To verify the genuineness of the 12th class list and to issue the appointment order to take mandatory action as per the schedule below Directed by Principal Secretary to Govt.

A total of 5,70,982 candidates had previously applied for the recruitment of 1000 village administrative officer posts. Date: 29.09.2024 Compulsory Kannada Examination was conducted for the said candidates and a total of 4,16,459 candidates were eligible in the said Compulsory Kannada Examination.
Later, after the government ordered a relaxation of 3 years in the maximum age limit applicable to all categories of candidates at one time, the Karnataka Examination Authority was once again allowed to apply for the proposed Village Administrative Officer posts on the basis of age relaxation. Accordingly, a total of 62,927 candidates have applied. Compulsory Kannada for newly applied candidates on Date:26.10.2024 and for total 4,79,386 candidates on Date:27.10.2024 competitive examination of Paper-1 and Paper-2 was conducted in all districts.
The Karnataka Examination Authority has published the provisional mark list of paper-1 and paper-2 of the examinees and allowed objection to the said provisional mark list within date: 28.11.2024. Accordingly, after reviewing the objections received to the provisional mark sheet, the authority published the district wise final mark sheet on its website on Date: 09.12.2024. Now further steps will be taken as per above schedule.
