A penalty of Rs 13.51 crore has been imposed for converting 3.35 lakh ineligibles to APL in BPL ration card revision from 2021 to May 2023 across the state. There are 25 lakh APL ration card holders in the state, out of which only one lakh card holders are purchasing ration. In this background, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Muniyappa has clarified that the distribution of rice to APL ration card holders has been suspended as per the instructions of the Central Government.

To check whether your name has been canceled from the ration card list
Click on the link. Then the page of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department will open. There you will see some options on the right. Various options are available like mode, e-ration card, e-status, e-fair price shop, public complaint and reward scheme, SMS service, accommodation centers, statistics, tender, rates, etc.
There you have to click on e-ration card. Then some more options will appear. New Ration Card, Show Ration Card, Allotment, Ration Withdrawal Status, Update Aadhaar, Canceled / Withheld List, Village List New Ration Card Issuance will show several options.

There you have to click on the village list. Then another page will open. It will open. There you have to select District Taluk, Gram Panchayat, Village. Then click on Go. There will be a list of whose name the ration card is there.
Name of canceled/withheld ration card beneficiaries
Ration Card Holders should click on Canceled Withheld List to check whether their name has been cancelled. Then you have to select district, taluk and month. Then click on Go.
