Residents can access the Bhuvan Aadhaar portal. The portal offers two convenient ways to locate nearby centers.
A user can use the “Nearby Center” option and input their location information or they can get the option to enter their pin code in the designated search field to find Aadhaar centers in their vicinity.
Name, date of birth can this be updated?
The mAadhaar app currently offers only the address update option. According to UIDAI official statement: “The facility to update demographic details like name, date of birth, mobile number is not available in mAadhaar application. Only address update through document facility is currently available.
Aadhaar card renewal charges
- (1) Biometric Update: Update of Enrolled Biometrics (Fingerprint, Iris and Photo)Service is free once done between 5 to 7 years. -15 to 17 years old service is free once done. Otherwise ₹100 has to be paid.
- (2) Demographic Update: Update of registered name, gender, date of birth, address, mobile number or email address, or a combination of the same.
- Service is free during biometric update. -If done separately: Pay ₹50.
- (3) Document Update: Submission of documents as proof of identity and address supporting name, gender, date of birth and address
- -Service will be free till 14.12.2024 by using Myaadhar portal (https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/du).
- -At Aadhaar Centre: Pay ₹50.
How to update Aadhaar details through online portal?
Go to myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.
Select ‘Login’, enter your Aadhaar number and captcha code, then request the OTP. When the OTP comes put it and proceed with login.
Select ‘Document Update’.
Check the provided guidelines and proceed.
Confirm the correctness of the details by ticking the check box.
Submit your identity and address proof documents.
Upon completion, you will receive a Service Request Number (SRN) via email. You can use it to track update status.
