Karnataka Public Service Commission has issued an important announcement regarding the preliminary re-examination of KAS – Gazetted Probationer posts scheduled to be held on December 29, 2024.
Gazetted Probationer Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ for the year 2023-24 has issued a notification for the recruitment of a total of 384 posts on 26-02-2024. The preliminary re-examination for the said KAS posts is now scheduled to be held on 29-12-2024. In connection with this examination, it is known that some candidates have downloaded the admit card from the candidates’ login on the Commission’s website on 26-11-2024 due to an error in the software, an important notice has now been issued to all the candidates.

Commission will no longer officially release any admit card on the website for the preliminary re-examination dated 29-12-2024. Therefore due to technical error the currently downloaded admit cards are invalidated and the said admit card is not valid for the upcoming examination. Therefore, the official link will be made available along with the announcement in the coming days for all the candidates to download the preliminary re-examination admit card.
There are mainly 3 stages of exams in KPSC KAS exam.
Phase I – Preliminary Examination : There are 2 papers and the examination is for 400 marks
Stage II – Mains Examination: Compulsory Papers 2, Optional Papers 5.
Phase III – Personality Test : For 50
