tbf-2024-25- About inviting applications through online for sanction of Higher Education Grant for Children of Teachers/Lecturers for the year 2024-25.
National Teachers Welfare Foundation has invited online applications from Date:01-12-2024 to Date:31-12-2024 for sanctioning higher education of children of Government/Government-aided Teachers/Lecturers studying in the academic year 2024-25.
Eligible Teachers/Retired Teachers/Lecturers/Retired Lecturers/Principals of School Education Department must submit the application through ONLINE only. Physical applications for higher education grants will not be considered in this office.
Those who have got new card number of Life Membership / have renewed their old Life Membership Card online through the link TBF / SWF ONLINE SERVICES on Teachers Welfare Fund website URL kstbfonline.karnataka.gov.in or School Education Department website http://schooleducation.karnataka.gov.in Only teachers can apply for higher education grants.
Only one student per family will be funded, if both father/mother of the student are teachers/lecturers then only one person per family is allowed to apply.
Submission of applications as per below details.
- In-service teachers should submit applications with signatures of Pay Disbursing Officers (DDOs)/Controlling Officers. (Retired teachers to submit attested by gazetted authorities).
- Apply only for the courses mentioned in the application.
- ca, phd courses are not funded.
- Must be signed by teacher.
- Non-teaching staff are not eligible for higher education grants.
- Attested pension letter is mandatory for retired teachers.
- If both husband/wife apply, only one application will be considered.
- Children of teachers should be studying in the current stream.
- Applications from students studying in a failed/evening college/private/external/open university will not be considered.
- Date: Applications received after 31-12-2024 will be rejected.
- Submission of education certificate is mandatory.
- As the nationalized banks are merged, submission of current (nationalized) BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER and IFSC CODE number is mandatory.
