Good news for those of you who have ITI degree and want to work as an apprentice in Railways. Recruitment is going on for thousands of Apprentice Posts in North Western Railway for which applications are invited from eligible candidates. Under this recruitment process, a total of 1791 Apprentice Posts are being filled in Railways. Educational qualification
- Candidates must have passed 10th examination or its equivalent examination (under 10+2 examination system) from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks.
- Candidate should possess National Trade Certificate in notified trade issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT)/State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).
Age limit
Minimum age of applicant is 15 years. Maximum age should not exceed 24 years. Candidates above 24 years cannot apply for these posts.
Application fee
All candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs.100. But there is no application fee for SC/ST, Handicapped and Women candidates.
Selection process
Candidates will be selected based on merit list. Merit list is prepared on the basis of percentage marks (minimum 50% aggregate marks) in matriculation and marks in ITI in respective trade.
