The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the portal for online applications for the UGC (University Grants Commission)-NET exam to be held in June.
The NTA is planning to conduct Computer Based Test (CBT) for 85 subjects from June 22 to 30.
The exam is written to qualify for Junior Research Fellowship, appointment as Assistant Professor, and PhD admission in universities and colleges in India.
The application submission has started from April 29 and will be available till May 24. The exam will be announced by June 10. The admit card can be downloaded from June 15.
The application fee is ₹1,150 for General Category, ₹600 for Backward Classes and Other Backward Classes and ₹325 for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
