NHAI has announced a Summer Internship Program for students interested in participating in the infrastructure development of the country. This is a great opportunity for students who want to gain practical experience in National Highways projects.
The two-month internship will be held from May 4 to July 5 and selected candidates will be given a stipend of ₹20,000 per month.
The program is not limited to engineering students. Students from disciplines including Civil Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Data Science/Artificial Intelligence, as well as Law (BA LLB), Commerce, Science (BA/BCom/BSc), Management (MBA-HR, Finance, Marketing), Mass Communication and Library Science are also eligible to apply.
The selected students will gain in-depth knowledge of planning, implementation and management of road projects by working under the guidance of experienced experts at NHAI headquarters and field offices.
Students pursuing full-time UG/PG courses in higher education institutions or prestigious universities recognized by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) are eligible for this internship.
Those who successfully complete the program will be awarded an official certificate, which will be helpful for future careers.
Interested candidates can apply online through the official NHAI internship portal by April 15.
