Highlights:
Reservation Change: In view of the increase in the Scheduled Caste (SC) reservation from 15% to 17% and the Scheduled Tribe (ST) reservation from 3% to 7%, it has been suggested to classify the posts as per this new rule.
High Court Order: The government has directed to continue the recruitment process considering the interim order given by the Hon’ble High Court on reservation.
Deadline: The DG and IGP have ordered that the officers of all units should prepare the classification list (Rooster Points) of the posts under their jurisdiction and submit it to the Recruitment Department by March 5, 2026.
