The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) had issued a recruitment notification for the posts of First Class Assistant. The provisional selection list for this recruitment was published on February 20.
But now it has been said that this provisional selection list has been withdrawn.
The Social Welfare Department has clarified that a re-advertisement will be issued with the consent of the Social Welfare Department.
A post in this regard was posted on social media, saying, ‘The provisional selection list dated 20.02.2026 dated 20.02.2026 regarding the filling of the post of First Class Assistant in the Bangalore Development Authority through direct recruitment has been published and objections have been asked to be submitted within 15 days. In view of the strong objections received to the said publication, it is hereby informed that the above publication has been withdrawn as steps are being taken to re-advertise with the consent of the Social Welfare Department.’
There is huge opposition to the provisional selection list for the recruitment of First Class Assistants by the Bangalore Development Authority. Several people are posting on social media that the reservation rules have not been followed.
