The government has finally given the green signal to fill hundreds of vacant posts in the Department of Health and Family Welfare

The Chief Secretary has approved the proposal to fill up the 877 non-medical posts of various categories in the Health and Family Welfare Department through direct recruitment, which were vacant in the Welfare Karnataka Division.

In relation to the above matter, the proposal to fill up 877 non-medical posts of various cadres in the Welfare Karnataka Division in the Department of Health and Family Welfare through direct recruitment as requested in the letters referred to (1) will be consulted with the Department of Finance and Personnel and CA Reforms Departments.
In view of the fact that the Finance Department has not agreed to fill up 877 vacant medical posts of various categories in the Health and Family Welfare Department through direct recruitment Q : DPAR 6 PLX 2012, 6: 06.11.2013 2 2 10(2) treating the said posts as per the category and recruitment rules. The opinion of the CASU Department was sought on whether steps can be taken to fill up by direct recruitment.
