PM Yasasvi Scholarship 2025: ₹3 lakh scholarship per year! Who is eligible? How to apply?

PM Young Achievers Scholarship: The Central Government has launched the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Scheme with the aim of ensuring that the talent of students does not go to waste. It is also known as the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (PM-YASASVI).

This scheme aims to provide strong educational support to students, especially from OBC, EBC and Scheduled Castes/Semi-Nomadic Tribes (DNT) communities. Under this scheme, students studying in class 9 and 11 are eligible for assistance of up to ₹3 lakh including fees + expenses + book + laptop subsidy.

Main objective of the scheme

It is generally seen that students from backward communities are not able to study in good schools due to lack of money.
Therefore, this scheme directly bears the cost of their education.

Important Information:

Earlier, a successful entrance test (YET) was required to get this scholarship.
But the test has been abolished from 2025! Now, selection will be done directly on the basis of previous class marks

The government pays the fees directly to the school. The money comes to the student’s account through DBT.

  • 10th/12th class result is mandatory
  • Preference will be given to those who score higher
  • No test (Test Cancelled)
