Eligibility
This opportunity is reserved for the officers/staff of Department of Posts who have interest and knowledge in CEPT technology work and are advised to apply to PS Group B/ASP/IP/LSG/PA/SA/OA/MTS/GDS cadres. Preference will be given to those with knowledge/skills related to technology stack – work in APT application O&M, feature development etc. is expected.
Clarification on Age Limit and Educational Qualification
Although some job portals are circulating mandatory information stating “10th Pass” and specified age limit/pay scale, such details are not confirmed in the CEPT official notification/portal; the official reference is that the eligibility is “as per India Post norms/skills” and will be applicable only to department cadres. Therefore, 10th Pass should not be considered as a notification opened to the public like a normal outsourced recruitment; it is equivalent to a “willingness” call for internal staff of the department.
