Indian Army Armed Forces Medical Services is recruiting for the post of Medical Officers (AFMS). There are a total of 225 vacancies. The last date for submission of applications is October 3. Applications are invited from September 13.
Applications can be submitted only through the official website join.afms.gov.in.
Candidates with MBBS and PG qualifications can apply in this case. The candidates applying must have a medical qualification as included in the National Medical Council Act, 2019. Permanent registration from any State Medical Council/NMC/MCI is also mandatory for submitting the application. Applicants must have written the NEET PG exam in 2024 or 2025. This opportunity is not applicable to those who have already completed their postgraduate degree. Both men and women can apply. Candidates with MBBS degree should be below 30 years of age. At the same time, there is an age limit of 35 years for candidates with postgraduate degree. Basic salary Rs. 61300.
Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be held from November 11. Out of the total 225 posts, 169 posts are categorized for males and 56 posts for females. Candidates who have made more than two attempts to clear the final MBBS exam are not eligible. Application fee is Rs. 200.

- Provide all the required personal, educational and NEET PG details.
Scan and upload the following:
- Recent passport size photograph (JPEG, up to 100 KB)
- 10th Class / Birth Certificate (PDF, up to 200 KB)
- Final MBBS Part I & II Attempt Certificate
- Internship Completion Certificate
- NEET PG Scorecard
- PG Degree Certificate (if available)
- Aadhaar Card
- Pay Rs. 200 through online payment (Net Banking/Credit or Debit Card).
- After checking all the details, click Submit.
