A notification has been released for the recruitment of 32,438 Group-D posts in the Railways. The examination dates for these posts have been announced and the examinations will be held from November 17 to the end of December. The examinations will be conducted online.
Details like exam centre and date will be available 10 days before. Candidates are required to follow the official website from time to time for updates.
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will conduct RRB Group D Exam 2025 under CEN 08/2024 to fill 32,438 Level-1 posts in various departments. These posts will be filled in various departments. There are posts like Assistant in Maintenance, Pointsman, Loco Shed, Operations, Traction and Luggage (TL), Air Conditioning (AC) departments.
The recruitment process will begin with a Computer Based Test, which is tentatively scheduled from November 17 to the end of December 2025. This will be followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification and Medical Examination.
Candidates will receive their examination centre details and admit cards a few days before the exam. The selection process will involve a computer-based test, physical efficiency test (PET), document verification and medical examination.
The RRB Group D computer-based test will consist of 100 multiple choice questions from subjects such as Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness and Current Affairs. The total duration of the test is 90 minutes. For candidates with disabilities using scribes, it will be 120 minutes. One-third of the marks will be negative for each wrong answer.
General Awareness and Current Affairs – 20 questions, 20 marks
Reasoning – 30 questions, 30 marks
Mathematics – 25 questions, 25 marks
