Application submission has been allowed on the ahara.kar.nic.in website. Beneficiaries can apply for new ration cards on mobile, computer, and SevaSindhu portals.

- Must be a permanent resident of Karnataka
- Those who do not have a ration card can apply
- Newly married couples can apply for a new ration card
- Ration card BPL, APL will be decided based on the family income

- Voter ID
- Aadhar Card
- Age Certificate
- Driving License
- Recent passport size photograph
- Mobile Number
- Self-declaration Certificate
How to apply for a new ration card
- Visit the official website kar.nic.in
- Click on the e-services that appear there
- You can also directly click on the website https://ahara.kar.nic.in/Home/EServices.
- Then you select e-ration card
- Then if you scroll down, you will get a link to apply for a new ration card
- Click there and you will have to select the language to apply for a new ration card
- You have to fill in all the information that is asked there
- Select and enter whether you are applying for a BPL or APL card
- Then upload the soft copies of the documents asked along with the application. Then the application submission process will be completed.
