The state government also provides financial assistance directly to the people through various corporations every year. Accordingly, this time the Karnataka Maharishi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation has invited applications for various subsidies from the Karnataka Medara Scheduled Tribe Nomadic Development Corporation.

In these projects, the government will provide a huge amount of subsidy, through which the people of the state can develop economically. This includes Land Ownership Scheme, Micro Credit Scheme, Ganga Kalyan Yojana, Self Employment Programs, Entrepreneurship Development Scheme (in collaboration with banks). If so, how to apply for these projects? Let’s see what benefits these projects will get. Self-Employment Programs (Self-Employment Programs) for 50% of the said scheme for self-employment of Scheduled Tribe unemployed youth/women and remaining 50% of the target of 50% of vegetable, fruit, fish-meat sale, 50% loan and 50% subsidy on unit cost of Rs.1,00,000 for small economic activities like sheep/pig/rabbit rearing etc. Rs.50,000/- and loan Rs.50,000/-) will be paid to the beneficiaries in 2 installments. The loan is charged by the corporation at an interest rate of 4%.

Entrepreneurship Development Scheme (Grant of 2.0 lakhs) Under this scheme, the scheme is implemented by the corporation with subsidy and bank loan system to start self-employment units in small business small industry and service sector women. 70% of the unit cost or a maximum of Rs.2.00 lakhs is the subsidy and the remaining amount will be a bank loan. Swavalambi Sarathi Yojana (subsidy of 4.0 lakhs) under this scheme 70% or maximum of unit cost for transport vehicle, tractor and other business purposes along with the purpose of purchase of goods transport vehicle to promote self-employment among Scheduled Tribe youth/women. A subsidy of Rs.4.00 lakhs and the remaining amount will be a bank loan.

Entrepreneurship Development Scheme (Subsidy of 1.25 Lakhs) 50% of the cost of 50% of the cost of two buffaloes/cows to the Scheduled Tribes of the Scheduled Tribes community or a maximum of Rs 1.25 lakhs. A subsidy of Rs. Integrated Ganga Kalyan Yojana, 1.20 to 5.00 acres of dry land owned by small and micro farmers belonging to Scheduled Tribes, pumpsets are being drilled, pumpsets are supplied, installed and electrified and irrigation facilities are being provided. Under this project, the ground water level has fallen. Unit costs in Kolar, Chikkaballapur, Tumkur, Bangalore City, Bangalore Rural and Ramanagara districts. 4.75 lakhs, out of which Rs.4.25 lakh subsidy, Rs.50,000/- term loan of Rs.75,000/- will be released to Eskoms as electrification cost. Rs.3.75 lakhs, out of which Rs.3.25 lakh subsidy is Rs.50,000/- term loan. 75,000/- in the subsidy will be released to Eskoms as an electrification cost and the loan amount will be repaid at an interest rate of 4% in 6 half-annual equivalent installments…

Land Ownership Plan (Land Ownership Plan) Land-Ownership Scheme is a prestigious scheme of the Corporation and only the women of Scheduled Tribe landless agricultural workers families are being provided with this scheme.

Who can apply?

  • The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Caste.
  • The applicant must mandatorily submit the application through the Seva Sindhu / Suvidha portal.
  • Must be a resident of the state of Karnataka.
  • The annual income of the applicant’s family should be within the limit of Rs. 1,50,000/- in rural areas and Rs. 2,00,000/- in urban areas.
  • If the applicant/ any dependent member of the family has previously received benefits from the corporation, such beneficiaries are not eligible.
  • The applicant should have the necessary space to set up the unit.
  • No educational qualification is mandatory for the eligible beneficiary to get electric / other two-wheeler / three-wheeler goods transport vehicles, the applicant should be maximum 60 years of age and the applicant should have a driving license.
  • Under the Self-Employment-Direct Loan Scheme, the age limit of the applicant should be between minimum 21 and maximum 60 years.
  • Under the Entrepreneurship Scheme, the age limit of the applicant should be between minimum 21 and maximum 56 years and the applicant should have a driving license.
