Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar has announced that the 22nd installment of the Grihalakshmi Yojana will be released today. You can check whether the money for the Grihalakshmi Yojana has been deposited on your mobile phone.
The Grihalakshmi scheme aims to financially empower women by providing Rs. 2000 every month to the female head of the family.
In the budget for 2025-26, Rs 28,608 crore has been allocated for the Grihalakshmi Yojana. It is also planned to bring the beneficiaries of the Grihalakshmi Yojana under the umbrella of ‘Akka Co-operative Societies’.
Gruha Lakshmi Scheme: How to check if your money has been deposited?
Bank Helpline: You can check your bank balance by giving a missed call from your registered mobile number to the helpline number of the bank where you have your bank account.
Check Gruha Lakshmi money on your mobile
You can easily check on your mobile whether your Gruha Lakshmi scheme money has been deposited in your account.
Through DBT Karnataka Mobile App:
First download the ‘DBT Karnataka’ app on your mobile. (It is available on Google Play Store).
After opening the app, enter your Aadhaar number.
Then enter the OTP (One Time Password) sent to your registered mobile number and login.
Once logged in, you will be able to see the payment details (date and amount of money deposited) of your Grihalakshmi Yojana.

Open a browser on your mobile and visit the official website of Seva Sindhu Portal: https://sevasindhugs1.karnataka.gov.in/gl-stat-sns
Enter your ration card number on this page.
Click on the ‘Get Status’ button.
The status of your Gruha Lakshmi application and payment details will be displayed there.
Check via SMS:
When money is deposited in your bank account under the Grihalakshmi Yojana, an SMS will be sent from the bank to the mobile number linked to your bank account.
Similarly, a message will be sent from the department regarding the deposit of money.
By calling the bank helpline number/giving a missed call:
You can check your bank balance by calling the helpline number (customer care number) of the bank where you have your bank account or by giving a missed call. This will let you know whether the money has been deposited or not.
Important points:
Your bank account must be linked to Aadhaar and DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) must be active.
In case of any issues, you can call the Grihalakshmi Yojana helpline numbers (e.g. 1907 or 080-22279954) for information.
If your bank account and mobile number are correct, you can easily check whether the money has been deposited in the above-mentioned ways.
