The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has invited online applications for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade 2 Executive. The recruitment drive for 2025 aims to fill 3,717 posts in various categories.
The online application process will begin on July 19 and the last date for submission of applications is August 10. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs at mha.gov.in.
Educational Qualification:
To apply, candidates must have a degree from a recognized university.
Age Limit:
Age limit is 18 to 27 years as on August 10, 2025, age relaxation is applicable as per existing government norms.
Pay Scale:
The selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary of ₹44,900 – 1,42,400/-.

General, OBC, EWS: Rs. 650 / SC, ST, PWD: Rs. 550 (The fee should be paid through the online payment gateway available on the application portal)

The objective type written test will consist of 100 questions of 100 marks to be completed in 1 hour. Negative marking of 0.25 marks will be given for each wrong answer.
Written Exam Topics and Marks:
Current Affairs: 20 Questions – 20 Marks
General Studies: 20 Questions – 20 Marks
Numerical Ability: 20 Questions – 20 Marks
Reasoning: 20 Questions – 20 Marks
English: 20 Questions – 20 Marks
The descriptive test will be of 50 marks, followed by an interview of 100 marks.
