As every year, the details of the district and taluk level selection committee members and the guidelines for the duties of the committee have been attached with this circular issued regarding the selection of primary/high school teachers for the ‘District Best Teacher Awards’ to be given as part of the ‘Teachers’ Day’ on 5th September 2025 for the year 2025-26.
The details of the number of awards allocated to each district (zone wise number) and the cash award of Rs. 5000/- each for the district award and the expenditure/expenses of the selection committee of Rs. 2000/- per district are being released to the District Deputy Directors (Administration) as detailed in ‘Annexure-A’.
An amount of Rs. 20,000/- is being released to the Field Education Officers of all the zones of the state for organizing the Taluk level “Teachers’ Day” program and an amount of Rs. 30,000/- is being released to all the District Deputy Directors (Administration) for organizing the district level “Teachers’ Day” program, the details of which are given in “Annexure-A” attached to this circular.
Date: 05.09.2025 Teachers’ Day program is organized and a certified copy of the program expenditure details, vouchers along with the utilization certificate, photos, CDs regarding the organization of the program along with copies have been directed to be sent to the Fund Office by date: 30.09.2025.
