The state government has issued an order to fill 6,770 Group-D vacancies in state hospitals under the Health and Family Welfare Department through outsourcing.
In the order numbered (1) read above, it has been ordered to take steps to invite tenders under outsourced resources and in compliance with the previous tender rules, for the year 2019-20, 30% of the vacant Group-D posts in hospitals are non-clinical and 45% are Group-D posts, not exceeding 75% in total.
In this regard, instead of the 75% of the posts currently vacant in the district and taluk hospitals of the state, the Group D. and non-clinical services provided through outsourcing in the hospitals are being considered as a special case and 100% of the vacant posts in the hospitals are being appointed on an outsourcing basis. The salary of the Group D. and non-clinical staff working on a contract/outsource basis in the state hospitals is being paid under the sub-account head 034 (Contract/Outsource) of the state account head 2210-01-110-1-22, and the proposal has been submitted.
