Good news for the state’s ‘SSLC’ students: Important order from the government, exempting them from fees for exams-2 and 3!

The government has issued an important order to exempt the state from the fees for SSLC exams-2 and 3.

In the above mentioned sequence (1), SSLC Examination-1 of the year 2024-25 was conducted from 21.03.2025 to 04.04.2025 and the result was declared on 02.05.2025.

Regarding 20250 SSLC Exam-1, it was announced in a press conference held under the chairmanship of the Honorable Education Minister on 02.05.2025 that students who did not complete the SSLC Exam-1 of 2025 will be exempted from the examination fee for Exam-2 and 3. There is already a fee exemption for students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and students with different abilities, and excluding the said students, the examination fee statistics received from students who did not complete the SSLC Exam-1 of 2025 are as follows.

In view of the reasons explained in the proposal, the government has agreed to exempt students who did not complete the SSLC Exam-1 of 2025 from the examination fee for Exam-2 and 3, limited to the current year only.

Further, the financial impact arising from the exemption of the said examination fee, KARNATAKA SCHOOL EXAMINATION AND ASSESSMENT BOARD has also been informed to bear it from its internal resources.
