After Operation Sindhur, there is a situation of high tension between India and Pakistan. Meanwhile, the Indian Army has officially announced the recruitment for several posts in the Remount and Veterinary Corps (RVC), for which applications have been invited.
This recruitment is open to both male and female candidates for officer rank posts in the Short Service Commission (SSC) i.e. Corps. The last date for submission of applications is May 26.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army Recruitment:
- Applicants should have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science (BVSc or BVSc & AH) from a recognized institution.
- Apart from Indian citizens, Nepali citizens can also apply for these posts.
- In addition, people from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam who have come to India for permanent residence are also eligible. However, they should have an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.
What is the age limit for Indian Army recruitment?
The age of the candidates applying should be between 21 to 32 years as on May 26, 2025. However, age relaxation is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories.

How much will the salary be?
The candidates selected for these posts will get a salary ranging from Rs. 80 thousand to Rs. 1.20 lakh per month. This includes a basic salary of Rs. 61,300 under Level-10B Pay Matrix, Rs. 15,500 as Military Service Pay (MSP) and additional allowances like Kit Maintenance Allowance (KMA) and Dearness Allowance (DA).
