Recruitment for KAS 384 posts: Main exam date announced

The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) has decided to conduct the main examination for the recruitment of 384 gazetted probationary posts on May 3, 5, 7 and 9.

Earlier, KPSC has already released the registration numbers of candidates who qualified for the main examination in the ratio of 1:15 in the preliminary re-examination held on December 29.

KPSC had earlier decided to conduct the main examination for the posts of Gazetted Probationary on 28th, 29th and April 1st, 2nd.

However, some candidates had approached the Karnataka Administrative Tribunal (KAT) demanding re-examination due to translation errors in the question paper. Hence, the examination was postponed. KPSC has fixed a new date as the case has been disposed of by the KAT.

The schedule of the main examination has been published on the commission’s website (https://kpsc.kar.nic.in), said KPSC Secretary Ramandeep Chaudhary in a press release.
