Karnataka Public Service Commission has now published the additional selection list for the notified posts of Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) in Water Resources Department for the information of candidates. Those who have applied for these posts and participated in the recruitment process can now check the list for their name.
Karnataka Public Service Commission has released the additional selection list for the recruitment of AE posts in Water Resources Department which was notified in the year 2017. But this is not the first additional option. As some of the candidates in the previously released additional list have not reported for duty, additional list has been released for the said posts. Assistant Engineers (Civil)-527(429+98), Assistant Engineers (Mechanical)-73(71+02), Junior Engineers (Civil)-246(159+87) notified vide commission notification dated 22-06-2017. and Junior Engineers (Mechanical)-43 (41+02) The final selection lists were published.
Further, as per order dated:07.11.2022 vide Karnataka State Administrative Judicial Council Application No: 1402 to 1407 2022 for the posts of Assistant Engineers (Mechanical) and Additional List of Water Resources Department (Recruitment of Assistant Engineers and Junior Engineers Cadres) (Special) Rules 2017 Published on: 15-03-2013. Subsequently, the revised supplementary list for the said posts as per the proceedings of the Commission Date: 27-06-2023 meeting will be published on the website of the Commission on 10-10-2023.
Further as per the proceedings of the meeting of the Commission dated 15-11-2024 and as per the application No. 4659/2023 of the Honorable Karnataka Administrative Tribunal, order dated 07-03-2024 and the order of the Hon’ble High Court dated 31-05-2024 and as reported by the Appointing Authority. An additional selection list for the posts has been published for the information of the candidates.

- Select Lists >> Picklist >> Additional Picklist Options on the open home page.
- Final list link of all recently released posts will be provided.
- Click on the link that says ‘additional select list for the post of AE(MEchanical) in the water resource department’.
- A PDF file will open. Check that your name is there.
KPSC will soon issue the recruitment report order copy to the candidates in the currently released additional list. Candidates have to visit the office-address of the mentioned department, give the documents and order copy and report within the given date.
