Karnataka Public Service Commission has decided to release the ‘Key Answers’ only after the scanning of the ‘Optical Mark Recognition’ sheet (OMR) which is the answer sheet is completed after the examination has been conducted as an effort to bring transparency and improvement in Bangalore Recruitment Examinations.
As per the decision of the Commission, this new effort has been implemented from the recruitment examination of 150 Panchayat Abhi Vriddhi Adhikari (PDO) posts of the remaining basic group held on December 8. The same procedure will be followed for all future examinations including KAS.
The target is to complete the scanning within one month after the examination is held, after all the answer sheets reach the evaluation center. After the scanning is over, after the marks data of the candidates are safely entered in KPSC, the answer keys will be released and invited for objection. The marks obtained by the candidates will be released after the objection period is over and the release of the final key answers

There will be transparency: Exam irregularities may occur as answer keys are released within a few days of the exam. Candidates were advised to make this effort to avoid such possibilities. Thus, KPSC sources said that this attempt was made after discussion in the commission.
Candidate information is confidential: Examination
Then the OMR sheet is divided into 2 parts so that the registration number and OMR number of the candidate should not be known while scanning the OMR sheet. A bar code is printed spread between the two parts. In this barcode
Candidate registration number, OMR number, subject code, question paper series information will be there.
Part 1 contains OMR number, candidate registration number, subject code, signatures and barcode.
In the 2nd part only the correct answer and barred will be marked (N code) by the candidate.
After the examination the examiner will divide the OMR sheet into two parts and seal them separately. Only the 2nd part containing the answer will be sent for scanning. Sources said that through this, confidentiality will be maintained during scanning.”

The answer key was released on the fourth day of the examination for the recruitment of 97 Panchayat Development Officers of Karnataka Group. But, RPC Group 150 Posts Exam Key Answers will be released only after OMR sheet scanning.
