Indian Air Force has issued notification for Agniveer under Agnipath scheme. The application process for this will start from January 7, 2025. January 27 is the last date to apply.
Educational Qualification:
Must have passed 12th with Mathematics, Physics and English subjects from any recognized educational board or equivalent qualification. It is necessary to have at least 50% marks in aggregate in class 12th. Also in English should be 50% marks.
Age limit
Minimum age of candidates is 17.5 years and maximum age is 21 years. Age should be between 1 January 2005 to 1 January 2008.
Application fee
General/OBC/EWS category candidates need to pay Rs 550 application fee and SC/ST/PH category candidates need to pay Rs 100 only.
Medical criteria:
Height: Minimum 152 cm for male and female candidates.
Chest: Male candidates should have a minimum chest circumference of 77 cm and 5 cm expansion; Female candidates should have 5 cm chest expansion.
Hearing: Normal hearing ability (can hear forced whisper from 6 meters).
Selection process
Candidates will be selected through written test, physical test and document verification.
