APAAR stands for Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry. This card helps students in their academic progress and when they move from one educational institution to another.
Apart ID card is called One Nation One Student ID (One Nation, One Student ID). Apart ID card is a system of digital storage of educational data of students like their degree, awards, scholarship and credits. Aparidean is linked to the Student Academic Bank of Credit (ABC Bank). Overall this card works as a register of the educational system.

How to register for Apar card online?
- It is essential for the respective educational institutions to register the students studying in them with separate ID. Before that, the consent of their parents should be obtained.. There is no need for the parents to agree to this. As of now Apar card is not mandatory..Students follow these steps to register apar card..
- First visit Academic Bank of Credits (ABC Bank) website..
- Click on ‘My Account’ there. Click on Student on it..
- Sign up on DigiLocker..give your mobile number, address, aadhaar card details.
- Then you will login to Digi Locker..
- DigiLocker asks for permission to share your Aadhaar details with ABC Bank for verification.
- Then in the application that appears there, give your school/university name, your course details..submit.. then App ID card will be generated..
How to Download Apart ID Card?
Login to Academic Bank of Credit (ABC Bank) website..
Select Download app card on dashboard..
Then the app card will appear on the screen.
Then download it..take a print.
