- Exam Date: January 1-19, 2025
How much is the application fee?
General/ Unreserved Category: Rs 1,150, Rs 600 for General- EWS, OBC- NCL and Rs 325 for SC, ST, PWD, Third Gender candidates.
How to apply?
Those who want to apply for UGC NET 2024 December Exam can visit the website https://ugcnetdec2024.ntaonline.in/site/login. One is only allowed to fill one application form. The step by step process of applying is given below.
- First visit the website ugcnet.nta.ac.in
- UGC Application Form link will appear at the bottom of the home page. Click it
- Click on New Registration
- Fill the application form.
- Upload Passport Photograph, Signature.
- Pay the application fee
- Apply, download the application copy.
What is UGC Exam?
National Testing Agency (NTA) University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts UGC NET exam. Conducting Eligibility Test for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship’. Till 2018 UGC exam had three papers. In 2019 it was made into two papers. UGC NET exam is conducted twice in a year.
