Canara Bank has brought a great opportunity to the youth who want to start a career in the banking sector. An official notification has been issued to fill a total of 3,500 Apprentice vacancies across the country under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS).
These posts are reserved state-wise and the selected candidates will get practical experience in the banking sector.
Important dates and application fee details:
Applications for these apprentice posts have to be submitted online only. The application process will start from 1 October 2026 and the last date for submission of applications is 17 October 2026. An online application fee of Rs. 500 has been fixed for all categories of candidates. Candidates must complete the application by paying the fee by the specified date.
Educational Qualification and Age Limit Provisions:
Candidates who wish to apply must have completed Graduation from any recognized university. Only candidates who have completed their graduation between 1 January 2023 and 1 September 2026 are eligible for this recruitment. In addition, the age of the candidates should be between 20 and 28 years (i.e., the date of birth of the candidates should be between 2 September 1998 and 1 September 2006).
Direct selection of candidates without examination:
There will be no written examination for these Canara Bank Apprentice posts. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the 12th class (PUC) and diploma/degree examinations submitted by the candidates while applying. This merit list will be prepared separately state-wise and the list of selected candidates will be published.
Simple steps to apply online:
Eligible candidates should visit the official portal of NATS nats.education.gov.in and register first through the ‘Student Registration’ link. After the registration is complete, they should log in and fill the necessary details in the application form. Then, pay the application fee of Rs. 500 online, submit the application and download a printout of the application for future reference.
