Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has issued an official notification for the filling of various Group-C cadre teacher posts vacant in Morarji Desai, Kittur Rani Chennamma, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Smt. Indira Gandhi / Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Residential Schools functioning under the Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Association (KISES).
Applications are invited online from eligible and interested candidates and direct recruitment process will be held for a total of 767 (725 original cadre + 42 backlog) posts.

- Kannada Language Teachers: 103 posts
- English Language Teachers: 108 posts
- Hindi Language Teachers: 55 posts
- Mathematics Teachers: 103 posts
- Science Teachers: 106 posts
- Social Science Teachers: 154 posts
- Computer Teachers: 57 posts
- Physical Education Teachers: 81 posts

Pay Scale and Age Limit:
The selected candidates will be given a salary of Rs. 54,175 – 99,400/- as per the revised State Pay Scale of 2024. A one-time relaxation of 5 years has been given in the maximum age limit for recruitment, and the maximum age limit is as follows:
General Qualification (GM): 45 years
Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B: 48 years
Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Category-1: 50 years
(Minimum age limit for all candidates should be 18 years).
Eligibility and Selectio Procedure:
For the posts of Teachers (Serial No. 1 to 6): Degree in the relevant subjects, B.Ed and must be qualified in TET (Paper-2) conducted by the Department of School Education or CTET of the Central Board.
Selection Process: The competitive examination will be conducted in Offline-OMR Type. It will consist of Paper-1 (General Knowledge and Aptitude) and Paper-2 (Subject Based Test), with negative evaluation (0.25 marks deduction for each wrong answer). Along with this, there will also be a compulsory Kannada language test.

Specially Gifted Candidates: Rs. 250/-
