According to the Karnataka State Legal Services Authority Recruitment 2026 notification, the minimum educational qualification and other qualifications prescribed for applying for these posts are as follows:
Candidates must have passed SSLC or equivalent examination.
The candidate must have a driving license for driving a heavy motor vehicle (HMV) or a heavy goods vehicle in addition to a light vehicle driving license.
The candidates must have experience in driving a vehicle and must have a relevant certificate.
The candidate must be fluent in Kannada.

Pay Scale
The candidates selected for the post of Vehicle Driver in Karnataka State Legal Services Authority will be given an attractive monthly salary. The details of the official pay scale fixed are as follows: Rs. 34,100 – 800 – 35,700 – 900 – 39,300 – 1,000 – 43,300 – 1,125 – 47,800 – 1,250 – 52,800 – 1,375 – 58,300 – 1,500 – 64,300 – 1,650 – 67,600

How to Apply
Karnataka State Legal Services Authority Recruitment 2026 for Driver Posts is available to apply physically i.e. offline only, the steps to apply are as follows:
Candidates should first visit the official website and download the prescribed application form.
Fill in all the details asked in the application form (name, father’s name, date of birth, address, educational qualification etc.) correctly.
Affix your recent photograph in the prescribed space of the application and sign it.
Pay the prescribed application fee to the specified bank account and attach the fee payment challan or receipt with the application.
Attach your Aadhaar card, SSLC mark sheet, driving license, driving experience certificate, caste and income certificate and copies of conduct certificates obtained from school and a respected person along with the filled application form.
The completed application should be sent by post or in person (Muddam) to the following address so that it reaches the last date.

Selection Method
The selection of candidates will be done as per the rules of Karnataka State Legal Services Authority.
A list of eligible candidates will be prepared in the ratio of 1:5 from the candidates who have applied based on their educational qualification and reservation.
The eligible candidates will be subjected to a driving test conducted by the Police Training and Management School.
The candidates who have passed the driving test and obtained a certificate will be called for the next stage of interview.
A total of 10 marks have been fixed for the interview and it is mandatory for the candidates to secure at least 5 marks.
The verification of original documents will be done during the interview. Then the final selection list will be announced based on the qualification and reservation.
Selected candidates will initially have to undergo a service probation period of 2 years.
