Duty Location:
Candidates selected for the posts should work in Karnataka.

Number of Vacancies:
Applications are invited for a total of 945 posts.

Educational Qualification:
For 85% of the posts –

  • B.Sc (Agriculture) or
  • B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture.

For 15% of the posts –

  • B.Tech (Food Science and Technology) or
  • B.Tech (Food Technology) or
  • B.Sc (Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation) or
  • B.Sc (Hons) Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation or
  • B.Sc (Hons) Agri Business Management or
  • B.Sc (Agricultural Biotechnology) or
  • B.Tech (Biotechnology) or
  • B.Sc (Agricultural Engineering) or
  • B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering).

Age Limit:
Candidates should have completed at least 18 years of age as on the last date of application.

  • For General Qualification Candidates – Maximum 40 years
  • For Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B Candidates – Maximum 43 years
  • For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Category 1 Candidates – Maximum 45 years

Age Limit:
Candidates should have completed at least 18 years of age as on the last date of application.

  • For General Qualification Candidates – Maximum 40 years
  • For Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B Candidates – Maximum 43 years
  • For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Category 1 Candidates – Maximum 45 years

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected for the posts through a competitive examination.

  • General Qualification, Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B Candidates – Rs. 750
  • Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Caste, Category 1, Military, Third Gender Candidates – Rs. 500
  • Specially-abled Candidates – Rs. 250
