Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a major state-owned telecommunications company, has given great good news to job seekers. It has issued an official notification for filling up the vacant Junior Telecom Officer (JTO – Telecom) cadre posts under the Direct Recruitment scheme.
Applications are invited online from eligible candidates who want to make a career in the technical field and dream of a central government job.
Number of vacancies and circle-wise distribution:
A total of 100 Junior Telecom Officer (JTO) posts are being filled across the country under this new notification. These posts have been distributed on the basis of various circles. This recruitment is being made as part of BSNL network expansion across India, and the selected professionals will be given the responsibility of leading the technical departments of the organization.
Educational Qualification and Age Relaxation Details:
Candidates who wish to apply for the posts of Junior Telecom Officer in BSNL should have completed B.E / B.Tech degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university or institution or should have passed M.Sc, M.Tech. The age of the candidates should be between minimum 20 years and maximum 30 years as on July 3, 2026. As per government rules, age relaxation is given for OBC candidates by 3 years, SC/ST candidates by 5 years and PwBD candidates by a maximum of 10 years.
Application Fee and Selection Process:
Interested candidates who are eligible for these posts can apply online till July 3, 2026. As part of the application fee, candidates belonging to General, OBC and EWS categories will have to pay Rs. 2,000. Similarly, there is a concession for SC, ST and PwBD candidates, and a fee of Rs. 1,000 each has been fixed. The final selection of candidates will be made on the basis of computer-based online written test, document verification and medical exam. Importantly, the selected candidates will be given an attractive salary in the range of Rs. 16,400 to Rs. 40,500 per month.
