The district administration has given good news to the unemployed and those already engaged in civic service in Tumkur district. The District Urban Development Cell has issued a notification to fill a total of 238 vacant civic service posts in Tumkur Municipal Corporation, Shira and Tiptur Municipal Corporations under the direct payment system.
Eligible candidates are allowed to apply offline.

- Last date for submission of filled-in applications: 09-04-2026 (by 5:00 PM).

Qualifications
Must have at least one year of experience as a civil servant in the concerned local bodies on outsourced or daily wage basis.
Candidates should have knowledge of Kannada language.
The age limit should be between 18 and 50 years.
