Unemployed youth of Jya have got a good opportunity to start their own business. Karnataka Vokkaliga Community Development Corporation has implemented the “Aahar Vahini (Mobile Canteen)” scheme under the development plan for the year 2025-26 and applications have been invited online from those interested in starting a mobile food stall.
Through this scheme, EV-goods or four-wheeled vehicles will be converted into kiosks suitable for food sales. This will give the youth an opportunity to start their own business with little capital and become self-reliant.
Subsidy Details:
Under this scheme, a maximum direct subsidy of ₹3,00,000 will be provided for the purchase of a mobile canteen vehicle. The remaining amount can be obtained as a loan through banks or financial institutions.
Eligibility to apply:
The age of the applicant should be between 21 and 45 years
The annual family income should not exceed ₹3 lakh
Must belong to a concerned community
Must not have previously availed the benefits of any scheme of the corporation
Application Procedure:
Eligible candidates can apply online through the Seva Sindhu portal. Applications can also be submitted through Grama One, Karnataka One or Bangalore One centers
