For the youth looking for food jobs, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has released applications for the recruitment of Food Analyst posts. Applications can be submitted online for this recruitment till January 22.
This is a special opportunity for candidates who are looking for a government career in the field of food safety and science. Eligible and interested candidates can complete the application process on the official website fssai.gov.in on the specified dates. All candidates with qualification and requisite experience in food analysis, chemistry or related scientific fields can apply for this recruitment.
Qualifications:
To apply for the posts of Food Analyst, candidates should have a Bachelor’s/PG/PhD degree in any one of the 14 recognized subjects including Chemistry, Dairy Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Technology, Food Safety, Agricultural Science, Biochemistry. In addition, candidates who have passed the Food Analyst Division Examination from the Institute of Chemists India can also apply. In addition, the candidate should have at least 3 years of work experience in food analysis.
Application Fee:
Candidates applying for the computer-based test will have to pay a fee of Rs. 2500 and Rs. 5000 for the practical test. This fee has to be paid online. The fee is non-refundable after the application is submitted.
Selection Process:
The selection for the recruitment of FSSAI Food Analysts will be done in two stages. The first stage is a computer-based test in which questions will be asked from food chemistry, microbiology, food safety and related subjects. Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be selected for the second stage. The second stage is a practical test in which skills related to laboratory work and food analysis will be tested. The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the two stages. Selection will be made accordingly.

- Now fill all the details carefully in the application form.
