Hello friends, you can easily complete your gas E-KYC process through mobile, sitting at home. For this, you do not need to go to any gas agency and stand in line.
Required Mobile Apps:
First install the following two apps on your phone from the Play Store:
Aadhaar Face RD App: This is the official government app that will scan your face.
Your gas company’s app:
Indane: IndianOil One
HP Gas: HP Pay
Bharat Gas: Hello BPCL
How to do e-KYC:
Indane Gas:
- Open the IndianOil One app and log in (sign up if you don’t have an account).
- Click on the three lines (Menu) on the home page and select ‘My Profile’.
- There will be an option called ‘Re-KYC’ or ‘Aadhaar Authentication’, click on it.
- Accept the terms and conditions and press the (Face Scan) button.
- Now hold the camera in front of your face and blink. If the scan is successful, your e-KYC will be completed.
HP Gas:
- Open the HP Pay app and log in.
- Go to the ‘LPG’ section and select ‘Aadhaar Authentication’.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and complete the face scan process.
Bharat Gas:
- Log in to the Hello BPCL app.
- Click on your gas connection details and select the ‘e-KYC’ option.
- Verify the mobile number via OTP, then complete the Aadhaar face scan.
Important points to note:
- Subsidy: Your gas subsidy may be stopped if you do not do e-KYC.
- Light: Make sure there is enough light on your face while scanning your face.
- Delivery Boy: If you find it difficult to do it on your mobile, you can also get your e-KYC done for free from the delivery boy who brings the gas cylinder through his mobile.
- Fee: This process is completely free. Do not pay if anyone asks for money.
