IPPB GDS Recruitment 2025: Golden opportunity to get a job in a government bank; Degree pass is enough

Here is good news for those who are preparing to get a job in a government bank. India Post Payments Bank (IBPS) has issued a recruitment notification for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS). A total of 348 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive.

According to the notification, the application process has started from October 9 and the application period will be open till October 29. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the bank’s official website ippbonline.com or IBPS portal.

What are the educational qualifications?

To participate in this recruitment, candidates must have graduated from a recognized university or institution. Graduates in any discipline are eligible to apply.

Age Limit:

Regarding the age limit, the applicant should be at least 20 years of age and maximum 35 years of age. Age will be calculated as on August 1, 2025. Age relaxation is given for reserved categories as per government rules.

What is the selection process?

For this India Post Payments Bank recruitment, candidates will be selected on the basis of their graduation marks. If the number of applicants is high, the bank may also conduct an online test.

How much will the salary be?

The selected candidates will get a salary of up to Rs. 30,000 per month, along with other government benefits like dearness allowance, travel allowance and accommodation. The application fee for all categories of candidates is Rs. 750 and can be submitted online.

The application process will be completely online. Candidates will have to register online by visiting the bank’s website. After registration, fill in your personal information, upload the required documents, scan your photo and signature and pay the application fee. After submitting the application form, candidates can download it and take a printout.
