This scheme has been implemented to provide 100 days of employment to the poor and vulnerable groups living in rural areas. Those who get the job card under this scheme can earn income for their livelihood. Instead of development work in rural areas, it is about economic empowerment.

Check if your job card is active or not
Most of the workers have got a job card under the MNREGA scheme. But they do not even check whether that card is active or not. To check if your job card is active, you can use this
Click on the link. Then the MGNREGA beneficiary page will open. There you have to select your district. Then you have to select your taluk. Then click on submit. Then another page will open. There you will see the names of the Gram Panchayats in the taluk you have selected. In front of your Gram Panchayat, you will see which works have been completed under the Manrega scheme. Which works are in progress and active job cards.
In front of your Gram Panchayat, you have to click on the numbers in blue color below the active job card. Then the names of those whose job cards are active in your village will appear. There will also be information about your name, father’s name and how many days you have worked as a daily wage laborer.
If you click on Muster Roll Paid, you will get information about which works have been completed in your Gram Panchayat from where to where and when.
How much is the daily wage provided under the MNREGA scheme?
The main objective of the scheme is to provide employment opportunities locally for at least one hundred days in a financial year to adults in rural areas who are willing to do manual work under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.
