Detailed Eligibility Criteria

  1. Educational Qualification

· Anganwadi Worker:
· Must have passed Pre-University Course (PUC/Class 12).
· Must have studied Kannada as the first or second language in SSLC (Class 10).
· Anganwadi Helper:
· Must have passed SSLC (Class 10) or equivalent.

Additional Advantage: Priority will be given to candidates with an ECCE Diploma, JOC, NTT, Nutrition Diploma, Home Science, or Nursery Training certificate.

  1. Age Limit

· 19 to 35 years as on the last date of application.
· Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules for reserved categories.

  1. Gender & Residence

· Only Women and gender-minority women are eligible to apply.
· Mandatory Local Residence: You must be a resident of the same revenue village or ward where the Anganwadi centre is located. Proof of residence is required.


Selection Process

  • · The selection is Merit-Based. There is no written exam or interview.
  • · The merit list will be prepared based on:
  • · Academic marks.
  • · Notified bonus marks (for additional qualifications, etc.).
  • · The process is: Provisional Merit List → Objection Period (7 days) → Final Merit List.
