Halion India is a sensodyne manufacturer. The company, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, offers scholarships to BDS students every year on the way to help them realise their dream of higher education. It has invited  applications for scholarships for the year 2024-25. Halian India’s Buddy4Study And Sensodyne IDA is offering the Shining Star Scholarship in collaboration with the Indian Dental Association (IDA). The scholarship is offered to those who have taken admission in a 4-year dental surgery course  (BDS) in government or government-aided colleges.

50 meritorious BDS first year students are selected and awarded for this one scholarship. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for more details as follows.

Qualifications for Sensodyne IDA Shining Star Scholarship

– Must have taken admission in 4 years BDA course.
–  Must be a first year student of  the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) 4-year course.
–  Those studying in government educational institutions, government-aided educational institutions can apply.
– Minimum percentage in 2nd PUC.Must have secured  60  marks.
– The annual income of the family is Rs. Should not exceed 8 lakhs.
– Students from any part of the country can apply.

What is the value of Sensodyne IDA Shining Star Scholarship?

BDS course students selected for the Sensodyne IDA Shining Star Scholarship will also get a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 every year.1,05,000 scholarships will be received.
The candidates will get  a total scholarship amount of Rs.4,20,000  for 4 years.
But students get this scholarship every year as well.Must have secured 60 marks. The mark sheet of each semester has to be submitted.
