Village Accountant Dress Code Published

If the village administrator has to appear for the compulsory Kannada exam, he has to follow this dress code rule.

The Karnataka Examination Authority has issued the material and special instructions for the compulsory Kannada language examination to be held on 29-09-2024 for the post of Village Accountant. KEA has already published the hall ticket for VA exam. Candidates have to follow the dress code along with downloading the admit card.

Dress Code for Male Candidates:

1. Male candidates should ensure to wear half-sleeve shirts as full-sleeve shirts are not permitted on the day of examination. Prefer to wear collarless shirt as much as possible.
2. Trousers and plain trousers (without pockets / with deficit pockets) is the preferred dress code for male candidates. Kurta Pajama, jeans pants are not allowed.
3. Clothes worn by male candidates should be light. This means no zip pockets, pockets, large buttons and clothes with elaborate embroidery.
4. Shoes are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. Candidates should wear sandals or thin-soled sandals.
5. Candidates are prohibited from wearing any metal ornaments around the neck or wearing earrings, rings and bracelets.

Dress Code for Female Candidates:

1. Women candidates are prohibited from wearing clothes with elaborate embroidery, flowers, brooches or buttons.
2. Full sleeved clothes / jeans should not be worn on the day of examination, instead half sleeved clothes are directed to avoid embarrassment and as per the rules mentioned by KEA.
3. High heeled shoes/sandals and shoes/sandals with thick soles should not be worn, thin soles should be worn.
4. Women candidates are prohibited from wearing any kind of metal ornaments. (Except Mangalsutra and Kalungura) Dress Code to be followed.

Restricted to what?
Electronic devices, mobile phones, pen drives, ear phones, microphones, blue tooth devices and wrist watches are not allowed inside the examination room. Bringing and eating edibles inside the exam room is prohibited, even drinking water bottle is not allowed. Drinking water will be provided in the examination center itself. Pencil, paper, eraser, cannot be brought inside the examination center. Hat should not be worn on the head. Do not wear any type of mask.
