KPSC has given good news to the aspirants who are unable to apply for PDO Recruitment 2024 due to various reasons including age limit, fee payment issue. 247 PDO posts have been allowed to reapply after the state government has relaxed the age limit by 3 years for Group B and C posts.
KPSC has issued a notification in this regard. The Commission had issued a notification on March 15 for the recruitment of a total of 247 ‘Panchayat Development Officer’ posts in the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department for the year 2023-24. The maximum age limit for this is General Qualification-35 years, Category 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B- 38 years and Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Category 1-40 years”.
However, the state government has ordered a relaxation of 3 years in the maximum age limit for filling the Group-C and Group-B posts of various departments in the state civil services through direct recruitment to all categories of candidates (one time measure). Thus, the age limit has been modified as follows.
Age Limit:
Last date to apply for these posts: 03.10.2024 Must possess the minimum age limit mentioned before the respective reservations and not exceed the maximum age limit.
What should be the age? (Minimum-18 Years)
Application submission starts from September 18
In the background of the above order of the government, a relaxation of 3 years in the maximum age limit has been given to eligible candidates from September 18 to August 3 to apply for the posts of Group-C Group “Panchayat Development Officer* to all categories of candidates (one time measure).
Special Note:
Candidates who were previously unable to apply and pay fees due to technical reasons can also apply.
Except age limit, the information/details of the Commission (2)597/2023-24/2, 2:15.03.20240 3 should be duly applied and the said notification should be read for further details.
There will be no changes in the examination dates for Panchayat Development Officer posts already published on the Commission’s website.
